Q – How long shall I be bed-ridden after hip replacement?
A – For only a day or two, you would be bed-ridden after your hip
replacement. You would be able to walk with a walker third day onwards.
Q – How long it will take me to completely recover after a hip replacement surgery?
A – For first 1 or 2 days, you will be advised only to move in bed.
Third day onwards you would be able to walk with a walker. Your stitches would
be removed after 2 weeks and you would be able to walk without any help after
4-5 weeks. By One and a half to 2 months, you would be able to get back to
driving a car.
